In 2011, Chris Heinen started RetroFoam of Colorado Springs.
Before starting this business Chris had a long career in the U.S. Army having served 22 years. He served as part of the Military Police Corps, he served three tours in South Korea, and was deployed twice to Bosnia and then to the Pentagon following 9/11.
Chris retired as a Sergeant First Class in January 2006 and decided to take up the mantle of a general contractor.
Since starting RetroFoam of Colorado Springs, the company has insulated more than 1,500 homes in Colorado helping homeowners make their homes more comfortable and energy-efficient.
In the company’s first year in business, RetroFoam of Colorado Springs was awarded the Top Gun 2012 Award of Excellence. The Top Gun Award is given to the top RetroFoam dealers for that year. The company went on to earn this award in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. In 2016, Chris and his team also were awarded the Charlie’s Smoking Service Award for showing great leadership and working as a role-model as they helped other RetroFoam dealers become successful by sharing their methods.
The mission of RetroFoam of Colorado Springs is to provide cost-saving results to any homeowner looking to stay toasty warm in the winter and cool as a cucumber in the summer.
